Recovery
(Sort Of)
We hope to make people think. We want more thinking about recovery, more thinking about spiritual principle application, and more thinking about ways to be more compassionate, empathetic, and useful to humanity during our journey on this planet.
We hope that something we say can inspire you to be kinder to yourself, more loving to yourself, feel less alone and more connected, and come to find yourself just a little more fit for your day. Please join the conversation and give back so that we too, can benefit from your insight and wisdom.

I am a person in long term recovery, as well as a devoted husband and father. I found recovery and a new life through the 12 step model. The podcast has been an amazing opportunity to learn and grow in my personal recovery, as well as helping others.

I’m a person in long term recovery. I struggled with substance use/addiction for years and was blessed to find a path to recovery. I recognize that recovery is a daily way of life for me. I hope Recovery (Sort Of) inspires conversations about recovery and how we can all live happier and healthier lives.

I am a person in long term sobriety. I began my recovery path in the 12 steps but over the years was drawn to a Buddhist recovery practice. I was a fan of Recovery (sort of) for months before the guys invited me on as a guest, and now I’m a regular participant in the podcast as well as a contributing writer for the RSO blog.

I am a person in long term recovery. I started with the Recovery (Sort Of) show as a listener and occasional guest, searching for additional ways to access that “201” level of recovery. Since formally joining the show to head up marketing and outreach efforts, I am able to be of service in our local and worldwide community while working on something that brings me joy.
